Jackson White is the four-year-old son of a good friend. He was diagnosed with Krabbe Disease, a rare and usually fatal disease that affects the myelin in his nervous system. He and his family spent several months at Duke University this past year, taking advantage of their specialized facilities. Now he is home in California, but his day-to-day life is still a challenge.

From November 2004 through January 2005, this site ran a fundraiser for Jackson, and we raised over $230. Thanks to all my customers who ordered during that time, and thanks to the New Moms at Jersey Shore Hospital for participating in the fundraising raffles as well.

We will continue to donate $5 every time someone purchases an item made from a Sesame Street print.
